TERMS OF SERVICE.

Paveer's Service includes web and dashboard access, optional integrations, and hosted features that process and transform uploaded or linked video footage into structured, report-ready outputs for public safety and related workflows. The Service may be offered in free, trial, beta, and paid Pro plans.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By agreeing to these Terms you represent you meet the minimum age and, if acting on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization. In accordance with Section 35 of POPIA, we do not knowingly collect or process personal information from children under 18 years without competent person (parent or guardian) consent.

Account creation requires accurate, up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@paveer.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

Beta or trial features are provided "as is" and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Use of Beta features is at your own risk and may be subject to additional terms.

Paid plans are billed as described during purchase. Fees are non‑refundable except where required by law. Subscription plans renew automatically until cancelled. You authorize Paveer to charge the chosen payment method.

Subject to your compliance, Paveer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for internal business purposes. You may not reverse engineer, copy, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service.

Paveer and its licensors retain all rights, title and interest in the Service and Materials. Your submission of User Content does not transfer ownership, but you grant Paveer the rights needed to provide and improve the Service as set out in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Integrations and links to third-party services are governed by their terms. Paveer is not responsible for third-party practices or content.

You are responsible for content you upload or submit. Do not upload content you do not have rights to. We may remove content that violates these Terms. For clarity, if you submit video footage for processing, you represent you have lawful rights to submit and process that footage.

We may use anonymized or aggregated usage data and, where permitted by your settings or agreement, User Content to improve models and services. All personal information processing complies with POPIA's eight conditions for lawful processing. Specific data use, opt-outs, and data controls are described in our Privacy Policy.

Paveer collects usage data and aggregates analytics to maintain and improve the Service. Our public website does not perform user-level tracking for advertising and does not use cookies for cross-site tracking; dashboard sessions may rely on session mechanisms necessary for functionality.

We may send service and marketing emails; you can opt out of marketing communications. Service-critical emails (security, billing, notices) may be sent regardless of marketing preferences.

You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with security, infringe third-party rights, or engage in abusive or unlawful behavior. Violations may result in suspension or termination.

We respect third-party IP and will respond to valid infringement notices. Repeat infringers may be suspended or terminated.

We may update these Terms. Material changes affecting existing users will be posted and, where required, notified. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms remain effective while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or non-payment. Certain provisions survive termination.

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and defend Paveer from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. EXCEPT AS REQUIRED BY LAW, PAVEER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAVEER'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; THEY WILL NOT APPLY WHERE PROHIBITED.

Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We encourage you to contact us first at legal@paveer.com to resolve any concerns. Where arbitration is applicable and not prohibited by South African law, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA).

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Where applicable, these Terms also comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA), and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference and governs how we collect, use, and protect your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Review it at /legal/privacy-policy.
